The 2017 Workshop on Functional High-Performance Computing (FHPC’17) was a great success with 6 research presentations, 3 demos, and a panel session. It attracted between 40 and 60 attendees through the day. Simon Marlow gave a great invited talk on the use of Haskell for abuse detecting at Facebook: a latency-critical operation. We gratefully acknowledge the support of MaRIONet and the Hiperfit research centre
